I'm finally starting the edits for the story I began back in November, and so I will post it here for everyone.

Matt, sorry, I had to change your character's name for the story. A one-syllable name sounded a lot stronger with the first name you chose.

What I'm putting up here has been through my proofreading once. PLEASE let me know if I've missed anything or if there is anything I can do to make it better. Not all the characters are introduced at once and there are a few transitions I have yet to figure out. If I've miswritten your character, please let me know so I can amend it. Also, still looking for a title, other than Nimbus Over the Plains which sounds kinda lame.

This is my tentative first two paragraphs. It wasn't originally the first. Originally I'd started with a fight scene but there was really little I could do after that and I wanted to explain how the crew got together.

So, this is a fic I've been working on. I've had it on FF.net for a while and I'm still working on it, but I thought I'd post some of the stuff here. I have more chapters, but I'll post them in separate chunks over the next few days. To avoid the long, long post or spamming the comm all at once.

It's using anime canon and the Magic Kaito manga. This little thing pretty much spawned from the Yaiba chapter in Magic Kaito and the OVA featuring the same storyline and what started as a few drabbles mutated into a whole big thing. These are the first three drabbles that started it all.

Summary:Akako sees Conan and it starts to become known that maybe there was more to Conan that everyone, even those who know his secret, had thought. (And no, this isn't 'Conan is a shinigami' fic.)
